Fiber, Fiber, Fiber!

You should know how much fiber is recommended by the National Fiber Coucil (web site on reference page) and meet the minimum daily requirement.  Personally I consume 1 1/2 to 2 times the recommendation! Make sure you understand the difference of "Soluble" and "Insoluble" fiber and the effects of each to maximize your benefit! It is all explained on the National Fiber Council Web site. It is very easy to understand and see how much you should be having! You will not beleive the way you will lose weight and feel if you use fiber correctly. WWW.NATIONALFIBERCOUNCIL.ORG/

Water is imperative!

Water is highly recommended with any weight loss or health program. Water flushes out the impurities of the foods you consume to help your body recover and be healthier! Check out the benefits and amounts required daily on this web site from The Mayo Clinic at http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/water/NU00283

Weight loss programs

There are many weight loss ideas out there. Remember when choosing one that you want something that will teach you how to eat for life without feeling like you are suffering. Otherwise you will be doomed to feeling powerless to be yourself and eventually return to your bad eating habits. That would be such a waste off all your efforts and very unhealthy for your body.

Programs like "Weight Watchers" have been around for a while and show you how to eat what you want and still lose the pounds that are dragging your life down. Choose your program wisely and reap the benefits of a good life with the health to do what you like and retire to enjoy the fruits of your labors!

GOOD LUCK AND GOOD HEALTH!

Excersize Programs

It is my opinion that when choosing to excersize yourself into better health the most important rule should be "Don't Over Do It". Take time to allow your body to get used to regular excersizing and the amount of time that you work out each day.

If you start off too quickly you could injure yourself and end up gaining weight from not be able to move around once hurt!

A 15 -20 minute walk is a good start. After a week or so try to strecth it out to 30 minutes and then go from twice a week to three or four times. Most importantly "Listen to your Body" if you feel like you are overdoing you probably are. slow and sure is better than quick and out of work!

It takes time to get in shape. That is probably why so many people in good shape go to the gym on a regular basis. They don't want to lose what they have! You can get there, just remember, it took a long time to get to where you are and it will take a while to get back where you started. BUT IT'S WORTH IT!

Multivitamin / Mineral Supplements

Whenever you begin any diet or make any changes to your regular food intake, you should always consider supplementing you body's needs with a daily vitamin / mineral boost to make sure you are getting the proper nutrients into your system. We have all heard many times that "You are what you eat" and it is so true. Your body is a fantastic machine that works off of the fuel you give it to operate with. Put in "watered down" foods is like putting watered down fuel in your car, it might still run but not with very good performance.

Does your body barely get you home at the end of the day, or is it like your car, as ready to go at the end of the day as it was at the start?

Ask yourself this question: Am I "making it through" the day, or am I fully aware that I have plenty of energy to do all the things I need to each day?

If you can not say that you have enough energy or stamina to make it through you, should definitely add a multi vitamin/mineral supplement to your every day regimen.

Vitamins D, omega 3, are two of the most important ones to make sure you are getting enough of (in my opinion)

Also "ACAI" berry is the best antioxident out there for helping you in your health concious journey to a greater destination. Look for pure berry juice and not the 5% garbage that makes all the same claims without the bang for your buck.

GOOD LUCK AND GOOD HEALTH, Denis
